How we selected our Green Cleaning fluids

The CRI (Carpet & Rug Institute) Seal of Approval program tested the cleaning effectiveness of spot removers, pre-spray and in-tank cleaning chemicals to identify which cleaning solutions work best. Interior Care was very interested in the results of an independent laboratory study commissioned by CRI to make sure that our cleaning effectiveness was not compromised while using Green Products. CRI looked at several cleaning effectiveness factors:

• Overall cleaning effectiveness
• Rate of resoiling
• PH
• Surface texture change
• Optical brighteners
• Colorfastness

Based on the results of the CRI study, Interior Care consulted with industry leaders and referenced the LEED EB Operations and Maintenance Certification information and came up with our main Green Seal product category list.

• CCD-148 for carpet and upholstery care
• CCD-147/GS-40 for floor care products
• CCD-146 for hard surface cleaners
• CCD-110 for cleaning and degreasing compounds
• CCD-115 Odour control additives

Interior Care maintains MSDS Sheets for all of its cleaning products. The MSDS Sheets are available by logging into our Customer area of our website and entering your ID and pass word. Additional Green products will be added as they are tested and become available for use.

All of our Green Cleaning products are purchased in concentrations that help reduce the environmental impact of excessive packaging.
